Court interpreter for the German language
When a document must be comprehensible and officially acceptable in Croatia or in a German-speaking area, a precise translation and a proper form of certification are also important.
Translation adapted to the place where the document is used
German documents often come from different administrative environments: Germany, Austria or Switzerland. That is why the translation must not be only literal. It is necessary to recognize the type of document, the function of a particular term and the purpose for which the document is submitted.

What does a court interpreter confirm for the German language?
The court interpreter prepares the translation and certifies that the content of the translation corresponds to the content of the document submitted to him. As a rule, a certified translation is bound with the original or a copy, marked with a clause, signature and seal of the court interpreter. This form of translation is used when the recipient must have an official confirmation of the authenticity of the translated text.
Not every document needs to be certified. For internal business communication, informational materials or documents that are not submitted to the institution, an uncertified professional translation may be sufficient. It is best to check the difference with the authority requesting the document, and we prepare the appropriate service according to the information received.
German translations for employment and recognition of qualifications
When applying for a job or regulating professional status, a set of interrelated documents is often required: diploma, supplementary document, certificate of work experience, certificate of criminal record or proof of completed education. It is important that the names of institutions, qualifications and positions are translated consistently throughout the documentation.
If the documents are used in Germany or Austria, the requirements of the employer, chamber or competent authority may differ. Therefore, before starting, we recommend that you write to us to whom the documentation is to be submitted. This avoids creating the wrong type of translation or subsequent editing.
Legal and business translation between Croatian and German
Legal systems do not always use the same concepts or directly comparable terms. When translating contracts, court decisions, powers of attorney and registration documents, the translator must preserve the meaning of the original while using terminology that is clear to the target-language reader.
For companies, we translate documentation related to the establishment and management of the company, tenders, business relations, finance, procurement, technical products and employment. For larger projects, we coordinate names and key terms in advance so that the documents are terminologically connected.
Apostille, original and form of delivery
Depending on the issuing country, the type of document and the request of the recipient, an additional certification or apostille may be required along with the translation. Since the order of authentication and translation can affect the acceptability of the document, it is useful to check this before sending the original.
A legible scan or photo of every page is usually sufficient for an initial quote. After reviewing the documents, we will confirm whether the original is needed and arrange delivery or collection of the digital or printed translation.
Price and deadline for translation into German
Scope is not only determined by the number of physical pages. The price is affected by the amount of text, the complexity of the terminology, the language direction, the need for certification, the form of the document and the desired deadline. For this reason, we make the quote after inspecting the material, so that all costs and delivery methods are clearly defined before the start.

Frequently asked questions about German translation
Do I need to bring the original for a quote?
Usually not. A legible digital copy is normally sufficient to estimate the price and turnaround time. If we need to inspect the original for certification, we will let you know before starting.
Is a certified translation valid in Germany or Austria?
Acceptability is determined by the institution to which the document is submitted. That’s why we recommend that you check their special requirements before ordering and pass on the instructions you received to us.
Can you translate Austrian and Swiss documents?
Yes. We process documents from the German-speaking area, paying attention to differences in the names of institutions and administrative terminology.
Can the translation be made urgently?
The possibility of urgent preparation depends on the amount of text, the type of document and the availability of a suitable court interpreter. Send the material and the desired deadline so that we can check it immediately.
Do you need a translation of a German document?
Send the material and write where you are submitting it. You will receive a specific estimate before the work begins.
