When a person in an official or work procedure does not understand enough Croatian, the language, place, date and expected duration of the interpretation should be agreed in advance. Inovatus checks the availability of a suitable translator or court interpreter according to the type of procedure and the request of the competent institution.

01

For what jobs are you looking for an interpreter?

An interpreter is most often required for powers of attorney, contracts, statements, consents, real estate transactions and other legal actions when the party does not understand the language of the document or procedure sufficiently. The notary public determines what is required in a specific case.

02

Send the document before the appointment

If possible, the final text of the contract, power of attorney or declaration should be sent in advance. This allows the interpreter to prepare the names of the parties and legal terminology.

03

Location and duration

Specify the notary’s office, address, date, time, language and expected duration. For locations outside Zagreb, arrival conditions are agreed in advance.

04

Written translation and interpreting together

If the client needs both a certified translation of the document and the presence of an interpreter at the signing, both services can be coordinated, but the deadline and availability should be checked in advance.
